As you may know, the Olumpo website is going through the designer magic hands and we will be launching it pretty soon!
We are focusing on simplicity and a colorfull/friendly design… Here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect:

As we are working on design and functionalities we wanted to share and thanks some resources that helped us:
- We took some great advises from: Smashing Magazine Best Practices and Tutorials & Sign-Up Forms
- To keep it as clean as possible we will focus on TextboxList with Autocompletion (similar to facebook and can be seen on devthought):
- And to keep even more space we will focus on how they do it at tumblr.
Hope to present you some great results soon!

Did you know that they are 3.500 sports clubs in Belgium – 80.000 in Germany – 170.000 in France?
And this is very different outside EU. For example: US has leagues but don’t seem to have clubs…

Part of our plans with Olumpo is to book the name on the main socials medias… We strongly suggest you to use Namecheck.com which allow you to check social media but also domains & trademarks…
We started with the main ones:
- Facebook (thanks to our early fans we already own our vanity url, thanks!)
- Digg
- Flickr
- Blogger
- WordPress
- eBay (we never know :)
- …
And we will try to get many others soon… If you think we missed some let us know!
